Opening her up again...

Chrissie started losing a lot of blood at 4am, so they're going to convert the PICU room into an OR at 9:30am and open Chrissie's chest and take a look inside to see if they can discover the source of the bleeding. We want them to be able to discover the source so that they can address it and try to stop it. They will open her stitches and her sternum. It's not another open-heart surgery per se, but we need the same prayer coverage that you faithful warriors are so good at doing. Pray that Dr. K will find the exact source of bleeding and that he'll be able to stop it. Pray against infection, as always, since they're opening her back up.

I wanted this to be Wonderful Wednesday, but this is starting out as Wild Wednesday pretty early!!!

This message is sent to you via the blessing of Lorraine's cell phone. :-)

Here you go again on the rollercoater! I am praying like I have been for over a week!!! I know you all are exhausted but "They will mount with wings like eagles...They will run and not grow weary...They will walk and not faint!"

Early this morning I felt a tic/almost like a knock three times on my shoulder (never happened before). I actually said, "What?" and it stopped. I then started praying...for Chrissie. God is waking us up to pray (I firmly believe). Praying today and until Chrissie walks out of this hospital.

"When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them." Luke 4:40
Jesus is so obviously with Chrissie. Her heart is in His Hand.

Praying right now! Heavenly Father, guide the doctor's hands. Give him wisdom. Help him work as a team with all the other medical professionals. Give them one mind and heart together as they best work to help Chrissie heal. Father, God, please do a mighty healing work in Chrissie's body today, restoring what is broken. Guard and protect her against infection. Calm the minds and hearts of all who love her. Draw them into Your arms of love and protection as You sovereignly ordain the events of this day for Your glory.

Praying that the bleeding will STOP...in Jesus Name. For Wisdom for the doctors and EVERY person who comes into contact with Chrissie. For Protection from any infection. For New Life for "our" girl!! (She's all of ours now!) ;D
I Pray for the staff to be very aware of any physical pain and that they treat her with the pain meds quickly. Most of all, I Pray that Our Lord will place His Hands around Chrissies mind, so that she is protected from remembering ANY of the pain and trauma her little body is experiencing! I ask All of this in His Name. Amen.
P.S. Father, Please, give Chrissies family the Peace that Passes All Understanding! Touch and Hold her Mama and Daddy and her sisters and brothers close to Your Heart. I Love You, My Lord. JO

I am not sure how I feel about God however I am so drawn to your story and have been following it from a contry town in South Australia.
I am amazed at your strenght and courage and have sent prayers across the miles to you which is something I haven't done for a long time. I feel that it will renew my faith in God if Chrissis makes it through all of this as the Chrissie who you know and love as I think she can only survive this through the grace of God and what a wonderful way for God to let people know that he is here and that he hears our prayers.
Love Jo from South Australia

Praying for Chrissie, I am not sure who this is meant for Me, you, or a fellow prayer warrior, but it keeps coming back too me, which is how God speaks to me. But I need to share it. Jeremiah 29:11-13, 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Praying for total healing and restoration.
