The Reason for Chrissie's Life...

is for God to bring others to Him through her, the one who holds Christ in her heart.

God led me to this comment on the Reece's Rainbow site (the advocacy group who brought Chrissie to our family):
"As far as I have strayed from Christianity over the last year, I cannot even believe this is coming out of my mouth, but it is...PRAISE GOD!"

Praise God is exactly right!  The write of this comment probably thought that I would never read it, but God brought me straight to it.  I haven't had a chance to read anyone else's blogs or keep up with the hundreds of emails that pass through Reece's Rainbow daily, but at this very moment, God brought me to that comment.

This is the reason for Chrissie's life.  This is the reason God asked us to go to Serbia to adopt His precious child, who was lost, forgotten, rejected, and abandoned.  God and His Love and the gift of His Son have also been lost, forgotten, rejected, and abandoned by millions of people around the world.  May God use Chrissie's life to bring others to Him and rescue all those who may not know Him personally.
Anna, dearest author of the RR comment who has affirmed for me one of the most important purposes of Chrissie's being in our family, I pray that you would begin to allow God to draw you back to Him. He loves you dearly, and oh, how His heart aches that He gave His One and Only Son just for you, Anna, yet you have experienced something traumatic in your life that has kept you from allowing Him into your life.  I pray that God will continue to use Chrissie to open the door to your heart, a heart that He so desperately wants to have His cross in as well.  I pray you'll personally experience His precious gift of everlasting life.  Oh, how I want you to meet Chrissie in Heaven one day so you can tell her that she's the reason you wrote those words..."PRAISE GOD!"

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."  John 3:16

We just learned of Chrissie (through another RR mom...we also found our newest angel through RR...we adopted her last August). We are praying constantly for Chrissie. Her life and your humble words are a beautiful testimony. I know God is most pleased with the sacrifice of praise you are giving Him. We will continue to pray and lift sweet Chrissie up to our Heavenly Father who loves her deeply.
