Head doctor of PICU said Chrissie is stressing her out. *EDIT 1:41PM: This comment was said in jest, not haste! Just needed to clarify! :-)
Dr. Kupferschmid and Dr. Porisch are both gone for the day; they'll be back sometime between 3 and 7PM.
Lungs are looking more clear (with the oscillator shaking them up), so it's probably a heart issue with the cannulas. The ECMO and cannula is not sucking out the blood from the heart like they want, which causes a ton of issues.
A reader commented that Chrissie is two-stepping with God, and He's the leader. That is so comforting to be reminded of. (The two-step is also technically TWO steps forward and one back, but in Chrissie's case, it's 1 forward, 2 back or 3, 4, 5 back.) But, the One bringing her forward, even if it's just one step at a time with some backslides, is the faithful One who loves her more dearly than I do.
Docs are in deep discussion. 6 people are in the room now with furrowed brows.

I found your blog from a friend of a friend. Just wanted you to know we are praying for Chrissy and you here in Shoreview, Minnesota.
I can't imagine your level of stress and need but know that whatever you need we are praying for the Lord to supply.
Hugs.
Praying with and for all of you!
