Dr. Kupferschmid's assistant is in OR and ready for Chrissie if they can't do anything.

What's happening now is that the blood that's pooling inside of Chrissie (that isn't draining through the chest tube b/c it's clogged with some large clots) is actually compressing Chrissie's right atrium of her heart, which is where the cannula is.

The cannula is now compressed b/c of the pressure the blood pocket (that's rapidly building in size) is putting on the right atrium, which is now squished to flat when it should be full.

Back up cardiac surgeon is in here consulting, reviewing, discussing.

The drug to break up clots is dangerous b/c if it gets past the clot and into the heart, she could bleed "to death", but they would chase the blood loss with replacement blood, hoping to add more blood than Chrissie loses per second.

11 people in the room now.

All too familiar scenario...

Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It is called the "hour of Divine Mercy". Let's all call up Chrissie's name at this hour and storm the gates of Heaven for complete healing of this beautiful baby girl. Jesus says whatever is asked within this hour his heart is most merciful...

Lorraine,
I don't have anything new to say but that I am praying and standing in the gap with you for sweet Christyn Joy Patterson.
I just want you to know that I am on the KNEE TEAM for Chrissy.
I'm sure you can see how many people are reading the updates and praying but just seeing those comments...yes...one more is praying. Yes. Well, I think it would bless me.
Praying the peace of God to envelope you as we wait on Him to reveal His glory again and again.
Love,
Holly- Purpose Driven Family
