Yikes! Thank you for the updates so we know how to pray. I'm so thankful yesterday was basically uneventful. Hope you all got some much needed rest. I'm praying for more of the same today.
By the way, Chrissie's hair looks so nice. It's good to see her cleaned up and groomed.

- Julie I pray this day becomes a fever-free Friday!
As I was reading your updates this morning, "That's What Faith Can Do" came on the radio. Coincidence? There's no such thing!
God is at work and I praise Him for being mighty to save. Even as she lies there with tubes and machines all over her tiny body, He is using sweet Chrissie as a testimony to people all over the world. What an amazing little girl she is! I praise Him for everything He has done so far. I beseech Him to give Chrissie perfect health so she can share her testimony for many years to come. And I thank Him in advance for all the work He has yet to do in the Patterson family!
Praying for you all today. Chrissie, your husband, your children, and you, Lorraine. Looks like you had a long night- I'll pray that you are able to get some rest today.
Even though it caused her sats to drop, laying on her side probably helped clean her lungs out and get some unneeded fluids out!! We'll be praying for Chrissie throughout the day and for you to have energy and strength to keep you at her side.
Praise the Lord.... Just wanted you to know that family member - who turned away from the Lord years ago - is following Chrissie's story with deep interest. If only ONE life is changed... your struggle - Chrissie's struggle - it is worth it!!
Father God thank you for your super protection over Chrissie, your amazing healing hands have covered this child. Father her lungs needs some extra touched today, Father clear her lungs, heal her whole systems so that they work they way YOU have intended them too. Thank you Father for all you have done, You are the only one who could have done this, you are Mighty, you are the King that REGINS the Heavens and earth, we Praise your name, we Praise your works we Praise YOU! You are our ROCK! Father we also ask that you hold and bless the mommy and daddy and all the brothers and sisters who are at home waiting for their beloved family to come home. Thank you for all the people you have blessed to help.
I also BLESS YOU LORRAINE FROM THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR FEET AND EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN. I pray that when you find the time to sleep, your sleep will be deep and sweet. I pray that when you wake up, you'll have all the strength you need, in your spirit soul and body, to make it through another day. I will continue to pray and believe that Chrissie will walk out of the hospital and come home on or before May 27 of this year. With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 God Bless.
Praising God for returned stats, but will continue to cover her with Jesus' Love in prayer for healing, guarding from any infections, and knowledge that Her HEAVENLY FATHER will protect her!!!!
We've been getting ready for our adoption yard sale and out of the house...still praying for Chrissie constantly. Just now was able to check your blog.
Know that even if our family doesn't comment and we're out, we pray for her ALL the time and will continue covering her in prayer. Praying for all the details.....hugs.
I have never commented but check this site at least 14,000 times a day for updates and have been praying for your little Serbian Sensation. Funny how a little girl I have never met can grab a piece of my heart like she has!!! Keep fighting the fight Chrissie---there are a lot of people praying and loving you....even from afar!! Sunnie
Just wanting to let you know I am still praying fervently for sweet Chrissie! Trusting in the Great Physician and praising Him for further miracles that lie ahead as well as the ones He has already bestowed upon Chrissie. Chrissie sweetheart, keep fighting! Keep bossing those lungs and the heart, and boss that fever right on out of you! Lori
Thank you for the updates. We are all praying and worrying when we don't hear much. I know it takes you away from your precious baby to update your small army of prayer warriors, so I just wanted to say Thank you on behalf of the whole army. Back to praying now!

These are our new sons! Click their picture to read the story of how God worked miracles to lead us to them while in Ukraine Dec. '11.
Sons of our Heart
These were our Summer '11 host boys who we planned to adopt. God brought us to Ukraine Dec. 2011 to adopt them, but turned the events to lead us to adopt 2 six-year-old boys with Down syndrome! Our host boys now live with their bio aunt, but they'll always be sons in our hearts.
Hi, I'm Lorraine. I'm just one member of Team Boss Your Heart, but I happen to be the one who keeps up with this little blog God started in December 2009. I'm mom to 13 (3 bio, 10 adopted, 1 in heaven), so I don't devote as much time to updating this blog much anymore--sorry! This is my online diary/scrapbook of sorts, a way to record this journey of large family--special needs--blessed by adoption--ranch living--Jesus loving life. Explore this blog (and BossYourHeart.com) to get to know us, as well as the ministry and testimony God has given us. It's not your typical family testimony, but it's the one He's written for us, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Click the "E-Mail Me" icon to contact me. I read every email I receive, but many times, I am not able to respond due to time constraints. I apologize, but there aren't enough hours in the day for me to love on my hubby and kids and also answer emails. Thank you for understanding!
Support
Often times, people ask us how to donate directly to our family, to help with medical expenses, etc. This donate button goes to our personal account where donations are NOT tax-deductible. Please know that we do not at all expect outside support, but we are grateful for your support. God has always abundantly provided for our family, and we thank you for your prayers and support.
