Sweet Movement

I was just talking to Chrissie and rubbing on her arm and foot, and we had the biggest response yet.  Her whole body twitched as if she was trying to sit up and hug me back!!!  She raised her eyebrows and fluttered her eyelids, trying to open them to look at me.  It was so extremely sweet.  I feel like now I can tell her everything that's on my mind and she can comprehend my words and show response even if she can't talk or fully respond the way she wants to.  I have K-LOVE playing by her bed so she can hear all of her favorite songs, and "her song" (What Faith Can Do by Kutless) continues to come on at the most opportune times!!!  Her favorite K-LOVE jingle came on, and I told her how K-LOVE wants to hear her sing that jingle as soon as she's well.  I know she heard me, and I can't wait for her to get to call K-LOVE and sing the "K-LOVE" tune.  God is amazing.

Thank you all for praying.  Tomorrow is a HUGE day.  We're claiming it as Miracle Monday!!!

That is amazing! Your little girl is quite the fighter! So looking forward to hearing more good news tomorrow. In the meantime, I will keep praying for you all. Knowing that so many people were praying for my son was the ONLY thing that got me through my son's open heart surgery last year. I firmly believe that God has performed a miracle in his life, & I know that He is more than able to perform a miracle in Chrissie's life too. There have been many times in my nursing career when I've seen patients who were in the most dire of circumstances, who seemed to have no hope left....only to see them eventually make a complete recovery. I know that you are weary, but don't lose hope. Kim

We are just home from church and I had to hop on to see if there was any word on sweet Chrissie. I am praising God for all the signs He's giving you!!! Oh sweet Jesus, let this little girl's life being a living testimony to your healing power. We prayed for Chrissie at church this morning and I put her on the published prayer list so that people are reminded to pray for her daily. God bless your sweet little angel.

I have been checking your blog every few hours or so. I cannot wait to hear about tomorrow's PROGRESSION. I have been praying fervently (as sooo many people have) for your family and Chrissie. I'm so confident the Lord WILL have her dance out of there!!!

I have been praying for Chrissie since I first saw her on RR, but hadn't really kept up with her "post-adoption" until last week when I began following your blog.
I just wanted to tell you that I am fervently praying for her as well as your whole family! Praying for a fence of guardian angels surrounding your loved ones at home as well as with those at the hospital including everyone who "touches" Chrissie in any way - right down to the people caring for the equipment used to care for her. God's grace is being made manifest in Chrissie's story and I am just amazed by HIS awesomeness in this! Praying that her heart will be healed to "as good as new!"

Praise God for encouragement. And prais Him for being our Great Physician. As a nurse, I pray daily that He would use me to continue the work of healing He has begun in them. I pray for this for Chrissie's nurses and Drs.
Thanks for sharing.

Chrissie's favorite song on Klove that she can actually sing along to, "There Is A Way" I can't wait to hear her sweet voice sing to that song!
