New Vent and Morphine

Chrissie's on the new ventilator  now and appears to be doing fine.  I'm not sure how long it will take to know if this one is going to work well for Chrissie or not.  They also switched her to morphine, so we'll see what this Super Sonny Sunday holds for us.  One thing is for sure:  The Son is holding her in His hands every step of the way.

Not ready to give up the idea of "Miracle Monday" Would love to see another day of prayer and fasting to start out another week of healing for our "Serbian Sensation"
Will be praying that the ventilator will go, and that the author of life, will breathe air into her lungs!

When God's people pray things will change
When God's people pray all the earth will obey
My faith can't be shaken because I have seen
The amazing, miraculous happens
When God's people pray
The peace that we need will only come when we get on our knees

It seems like Chrissie is making a little progress everyday. Thank the Lord!!! We're continuing to pray for her complete healing.

as a chronic pain patient myself, i am sure that tolerance IS playing some role in Chrissie's pain problems.

although Fentanyl is MUCH stronger than Morphine - about 80 TIMES stronger, in fact - that doesn't do you a bit of good once you're tolerant.

and with a constant drip of the meds, as you said she's getting, as well as additional doses, it's impossible NOT to start developing tolerance.

praying they find the right medication/combination of meds to help her rest easy & as pain-free as possible...

What wonderful news! We have recently started to follow your blog through Abby's site! Our little guy was very critically sick and on an oscillator 2 1/2 years ago so I know a little of what you are going through. Continuing to pray for complete healing for your precious girl!

Love in Christ!

Still her in Beaverton praying and believing.
Praying for strong lungs and heart and no infection.
Holy Spirit, breathe into Chrissie's lungs and on her to protect her and fill her with your strength. Perfect healing for your glory. In Jesus Name, AMEN,
