More prayer

Chrissie will go for a CT Angiogram of her heart and chest today. This will be her first time to leave PICU in 27 days, except for visits to the OR. She will go to radiology for this test, and she'll be moved to the CT machine. She'll be removed from the vent and bagged during her procedure. Pray that all goes smoothly without any complications, pray for protection from infection and germ exposure, pray that the test will be done with precision and accuracy and that if there is anything wrong that needs to be identified, that it will show up boldly during the testing. Thanks!

This message is sent to you via the blessing of Lorraine's cell phone. :-)

Lorraine, I have to tell you that your post about the aggressive suctioning had ME holding my breath!! Poor Baby Girl!! And, the EIGHT hours of gasping...well, quite frankly, it angers me. You were SO right to ask them to help her! What she went through was hell!
If you get the same guy that was so aggressive with the suctioning, you should request that she receive some type of medication to sedate/relax her so she doesn't have to struggle so hard. I have been there myself and I promise you that she will not forget that experience. Anyone reading that post, who has been intubated and suctioned will undoubtedly feel the same way. I am interested to see if the MRI will show any damage from the aggressive suctioning. I know that was NOT his intention, but your Princess is in a much too delicate place in her healing process to have to go through such a traumatizing event.
I hope you don't think I'm being negative. That's not my intention. Just as you have been very "real" about her treatments...well, I feel like I can be, as well. I just have so much Love for Chrissy. She holds a very Special place in my Heart...as does All of your family!
I will be Praying for a safe "trip" to the MRI. No "bugs"! For Peace for ALL of you. For Wisdom from Our Father for everyone who touches or provides care for Chrissy. And, for a restful night for both You and Miss Chrissy Jewelry! ; )
My Love to You both ~ Jo

Hello Praying hard for Chrissie- please ask the DR's how long she can be intubated orally before there will be damage to her vocal cords.... they can do a trach for temporary until she doesn't need the vent to protect her vocal cords so she can speak when this is all over! love to all of you

I just want to let you know that I have been praying for your darling little girl. I ran across your blog and have been faithful in praying for and checking in on your princess' progress. She is a fighter and God IS mighty to save, protect, heal, and sustain us! Praise Him for that! Have you ever heard the song "Mighty to Save" by Hillsong? The lyrics are below and the Lord speaks volumes to my heart through this song!

Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.

Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour;
The Hope of nations.

Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.

Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.

I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.

My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus (x2)

My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

My Saviour, you can move the mountains,
You are mighty to save,
You are mighty to save.
Forever, Author of Salvation,
You rose and conquered the grave,
Yes you conquered the grave

I am praying!

Still praying for you all continually. I am glad you are able to connect with families at the hospital but I know too well the heartache you feel as they hurt. Thank you for allowing us to pray for them too.

Love you guys.
