movement

The oscillator was able to open Chrissie's lungs to where there is movement now. The pressure of the oscillator will hopefully stop or atleast slow the bleeding.

Heparin (blood thinner) was stopped, which puts us back at risk for the clot at the pulmonary artery to grow larger, which is extremely risky. We're in a God situation where we're dependent upon Him to do His thing...keeping the clot from growing while keeping the lungs from bleeding. It's a balancing act, but I have my faith in the One who will show His tightrope walking skill with great awe at this world famous, sold out circus!!!

To God be all the glory. He is mighty to save. Keep praying...

This message is sent to you via the blessing of Lorraine's cell phone. :-)

We're at that point again where it seems like God loves to work, that point where hope seems lost and doctors can't possibly take credit for God's mighty hand. Abba come.

I have been following your family for some time now. We are praying fervently for Chrissy--If I am gone for a day, I ask my husband to "check" on Chrissy for me. We have also adopted a little girl with a serious heart condition (you can read about her at www.blessedby10.blogspot.com.) Maisy is having surgery (cranial this time)on Monday. We will have a whole day while she is in extensive surgery to pray for our Maisy and for Chrissy. I have spent weeks in the PICU many times and I know how difficult it is. I will be praying for you and for your strength. And I will be especially praying that God be glorified in all that is happening right now.
A kindred spirit,

Chrissie,
You really do know how to keep us on our toes! God is so GREAT little girl! Please tell those lungs you are not giving up! Even though I have not ever met you in person I pray for you often and even tell my kids and husband about you. They know when I say the "princess" needs prayer that I am talking about you! :)
We are praying for FULL healing of your whole body!

My heart is heavy for you and your family today - up praying for your Chrissie half the night. I pray God gives you strength and rest so that you may enjoy the celebration of the miracles he continues to show us through Chrissie. I look forward several times a day to your updates, would love to meet this little princess someday! Many Blessings - from a mommy of a blessed Kristyn too!

We continue to pray...it's so good to know this battle belongs to the Lord. He's the one whose side we always fight. Praying and petitioning are our middle names right now (man, people look at us funny when we tell them)....

Praying that God wraps his arms around Chrissie and protects her from any further infection, illness, complication, or disease. I pray for her comfort, that he is protecting her little mind from fear, and that she feels nothing but his love and protection. I pray that God guides the hands of her surgeon tomorrow so that the blockage may be successfully cleared and no further damage be done to Chrissie in the process. I pray for her parents, give them the strength to endure this ordeal, because without the strength of our Lord this would be unbearable. I thank you in advance Great King for healing this child, mending her heart, clearing her lungs, breathing your breath of life and health into her little body, & returning her as a whole child to her parents, because you promise us in Mark 11:24 "Whatever you ask for in prayer BELIEVE that you have received it and it will be yours".
WE BELIEVE...

You do not know but I am a CVICU nurse in North Texas and have been following sweet Chrissie's story. Prayers are coming your way tonight. Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace!!! God has wonderful plans for Chrissie, he is MIGHTY to save, his grace is everlasting and he gives peace that transcends all understanding. Tomorrow is a mighty Monday for Chrissie! Praying for many blessings for Chrissie, you, and your family. Also praying for the hands of those who care for her at Methodist; that the Great Physician would use those hands for His healing!

Hey sweet lady! Keeping the prayers going. Hope you and Chrissie get some much needed rest tonight.

Hi Lorraine, I wanted to reassure you that I am still praying... I noticed the comments have slowed down a bit this weekend which probably means everyone else is busy praying too! How is Princess Chrissie this evening? I pray that the Great Physician's Healing Hand be upon Chrissie, holding her close to Him, cleaning out those lungs, healing them miraculously, stabilizing her stats so that she can get OFF that ventilator and BREATHE FULLY on her own, in Jesus Name! Chrissie, darlin' please keep fighting and bossing those lungs of yours! Your family wants you home with them soooo badly back at your ranch! We ALL want to hear that you are dancing and singing and being the precious princess that you are! Jesus loves you sooooo much, Chrissie and so does your Mommy and Daddy and brothers and sisters. I have never even met you but you know what? I love you too and I sooooo want you to get well! Lori

Father God, I lift up little Chrissie to you right now, as most people in the STates are sleeping. Please protect her as she rests through the night. Hold that clot and protect her from any consequences. Heal her lungs. I beg you that she would stay stable until Dr. P can do the heart cath. And Lord, would getting rid of this clot open the way to complete healing of her lungs.

Father, please grant Lorraine and all the family and all Dr P's team good rest tonight. May their faith be refined as they trust in you in new ways each day. Be glorified as their faith grows.

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD make me dwell in safety." Ps 4:8
