Selah continues to do well!

Selah had an uneventful night, praise God! Nurses were in and out all night, as usual, but Selah slept well and tolerated continual interruptions with grace. Today Selah is hanging in there beautifully. While she must remain in bed, lying on her back, with tubes all over and a hole in her skull, Selah maintains a joyful spirit. It's comforting to see Selah's appetite returning, while her spunky and sweet personality, even amongst the challenges, are inspiring Selah's such a tough girl, following in the footsteps of her warrior princess sister in heaven.

The neurosurgeon has ordered a repeat MRI (under sedation) for Friday. That will show him the size of Selah's ventricles as well as the status of the hematoma. He may be able to replace the shunt Monday if Selah's ventricles are replenished.

I am so grateful for God'a presence. We are experiencing peace amongst the battle, joy amongst the fear, love amongst the risk, patience amongst the chaos. The kindness, goodness, and faithfulness of our Abba Father shines brightly through the friends and family who are loving us through this journey. Thank you for blessing us with your friendship in and through Him. May God bless you abundantly on your path, and may you experience His presence in all you do.
