Easter Joy

Our Easter weekend was filled with joy.

We had lots of visitors to our home on Good Friday.

My sister and her two sons.  (We made mosaic crosses in memory of my mom, using her old jewelry.)

My sister-n-law and her two daughters.

My friend Carrie and her son, Rowan, plus Rowan’s nurse, Cindy.  (Click HERE to read Rowan’s story about his visit to our ranch.)

My husband’s district manager and his wife, Lucinda, plus their four children.  Here’s what Lucinda, wrote on my Facebook wall this morning:

Lucinda wrote: "It was such a blessing to meet these special people in your life, Lorraine. Their story touched my heart. Meeting your entire family and feeling the peace in your home and seeing the smiles on all of the faces....there are no words for that. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day."

 

Without the help of three of our beloved helpers, who are God-sent, our Easter festivities wouldn’t have been the same.  (Thank you, Emily, KJ, and Molly!!!)

Exceedingly.

Abundantly.

 

Blessed.

It’s our theme for 2013, and God continues to live this out in our lives so much greater than we could ever fathom or think to ask.

Easter serves as a reminder of so much.  New life.  The hope offered to us through our Savior, who brutally suffered and died on the cross for YOU and ME, so we could have eternal life with our Father in heaven through Him. 

Our Father’s plan is exceedingly and abundantly more than we can fathom, and each passing day on earth brings us closer to living in glory with our King of kings and our loved ones who have already joined Him in Paradise.

 

Hallelujah, Hosanna in the Highest!
