Battle and Blitz Day 13, May 1

Can you believe it's already May?  I really can't.  It seems impossible for the calendar to be on May.  May is the month that our precious princess went to live with Jesus.  I cannot believe this month is already upon us.

Last May, our family attended the Praise Wave Christian concert series at Seaworld San Antonio.  We were so blessed by that experience, as it fell near the end of Chrissie's battle, and the Christian concerts blessed our hearts.  Last year, God arranged for us to visit with Steven Curtis Chapman backstage, just 3 days before Chrissie went to heaven.  That was definitely a God-ordained time for our family.

This weekend, Praise Wave is back at Seaworld San Antonio. I took all of the girls today (Naomi, Meribeth, Mattie, Ella and Selah) while all of the boys went with Matt to our oldest son's rodeos.  (Parker has 3 rodeos this weekend that he is team-roping in.)  It was *H*O*T*, but fun to hear the bands and have some fun girl time.  It was hard to believe that the last time I was at Seaworld, Chrissie was stuck in a hospital bed, not doing well at all, and this year Chrissie is dancing in heaven with Jesus.  It's such a bittersweet time.  I just really wish Jesus would come get us all QUICKLY!!!

Anyway, I wanted to remind you all to pray for sweet Taylor.  She has until May 6 to raise the remaining funds for her mission trip to Israel, where Taylor will be helping kids who need to have their hearts fixed.  Will you please help her?
