Slide Show of Chrissie's Life With Our Family

You may click HERE to view the photo slide show of Chrissie that we played at her Celebration of Life (funeral) service.  Thank you, Robin Wilson, for transferring this and making it available for all to view, and thank you, Jackie Truitt, for putting this together at the very last minute.  (And thanks to all of you who've been asking me about getting it onto the blog...God is always so good to surround us with people who are able to make things happen!)  Oh, and "Tay" (15 year-old reader)...I don't have your email address, so I can't reply directly to you when you leave me a comment, but yes, you may play a slide show of Chrissie at the Princess Fundraiser Ball that you're putting together!!! :-)  God continues to work in mighty ways, and we are so very grateful for His presence and how He has surrounded us with an amazing Christian family to support and encourage us as we walk this path together.  Thank you all for praying for us and loving on us.  We are forever grateful.

Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your lives and sharing Chrissie with us! Your slide show is beautiful and her bubbly personality is evident through the pictures. Although there is great sadness for her loss, I am awe of how God used Chrissie and your journey to touch the lives of so many - my own included.

All of you continue to be in my prayers!

Dear Lorraine and family,
I have viewed the slideshow of Chrissie's precious life twice thus far and I wanted to thank you once again for sharing her journey with those of us who read your blog and/or follow your Facebook updates.
My heart still misses sweet Chrissie and I know it always will despite never having met in person. Looking at those pictures brought tears of both joy and loss. The world has truly lost an angel and yet I am comforted to know she is no longer confined to a hospital bed and that she is now healed and dancing with her Saviour!
One word--among many, that come to mind when I see those photos of Chrissie is exuburant--what a bubbly and sweet spirit. A spirit that is indeed larger than life in such a little body!
The other thing I noticed was her pin "Give Kids The World" Patterson Family, know this: You DID give Chrissie the world!! It is so very clear how much she was loved by each and every one of you and it is clear that she shared her own special bond with each of you. You gave her so much--including her greatest wish to have a mommy and daddy.
I know NO child can EVER be replaced or substituted one for another but you know what? It would not at all surprise me if one day the Lord spoke to you and sent you back to Serbia to adopt another sweet angel in memory of Chrissie. Something tells me she would love that!
I think of you often, and pray for you always... May your hearts be comforted and ultimately healed by the One who holds Chrissie's hand until the day comes when you all meet again. Hugs, Lori

Thank You so much for sharing your precious daughter, Christyn Joy, & the rest of your loving family... it's truely heart-warming to SEE the photos & be able to go back & watch the videos again. [tears flowed during the live broadcast] Knowing Chrissie is dancing with Maria Sue Chapman & many others in Heaven is AWESOME!

It's not the length of time on earth but the dash between the dates that matters... Christyn surely lived a beautiful & blessed life with her forever family. =)

With much love,
~Joni Lee Sweet

I'm only halfway through but wanted to stop and comment. Scrolling through these photos is like unwrapping a present every time I click! Her joy just shines through, so sweet. I've seen quite a few of them before but many I have not, I particularly love the one of her and Matt, looks like maybe in a restaurant and she's looking up at him in absolute adoration, touched my heart. Thanks for sharing, thinking of you guys often, still praying.

What a beautiful life she shared with you. Thank you for allowing us to see the time she spent with you--you could tell from the pictures how much she loved each one of you and how much you cherished her. I am so happy God placed her in your family so she could experience the love of a family here on earth and I am so happy she is healed now. I'm praying for each of you...

Thank you for sharing the photos of Chrissie with us. "Joy" is a very appropriate name to have given her...she exudes joy, as do you all!
Each family member looks so special and I am sure you are such a blessing to many people.
I pray that you will be blessed back more times than you can count!
I also pray for God's comfort and peace to surround you all and you go through the grieving process.
Hugs,
Rachel

I have not had time to read any blogs lately since just returning from bringing our baby girl home. I just took the time though to watch the whole slideshow and see the love in Chrissie's eyes. Your family has been such an inspiration to me as we prepare for an unknown future of heart struggles. We don't know what the future holds, but it is such comfort to know the ONE that holds our future. Thanks for sharing your life with us and please keep our family in your prayers also. Our first cardio appt. is next week.
